Service Description

Four 55-minute lessons per month. Music, ages 6-10: Dan teaches younger children general music appreciation: voice, recorder, xylophone, piano, ukulele, drums, etc. Singing, ages 10+: Some of Dan Hegelund’s past vocal students have been finalists in televised talent shows and now enjoy professional music careers. Piano, ages 10+: Dan Hegelund is a classically trained pianist, who specializes in teaching contemporary pop, improvisation, accompaniment, and playing by ear. Composition, ages 14+: Dan has composed more than 50 songs and can teach you how to write your own songs, and help you finish your song ideas. Months with 5 weeks in them: You pay for 4 lessons per month, but we will still go ahead and do five lessons in months with five weeks in them. (The fifth lesson has the function of a make-up lesson for eventual missed classes; see below). Now Show Policy: If you do not show up, there is no make-up lesson. However, if you give at least 72 hours notice, such as before a vacation or a doctor's appointment, I will either (a) "use" a fifth lesson (as described above) or (b) refund the missed class.
