River Tech À La Carte (Home School) 2026-27
River Tech offers flexible enrichment for homeschool families — choose 1 to 4 days per week. Families choose how many days per week their student attends, and tuition scales accordingly. Our homeschool programs are for students ages 9-16, unless otherwise specified.
River Tech is a Christian school—all classes are taught with Christian commentary and a conservative moral framework. River Tech's teaching team holds college degrees across diverse fields and brings deep real-world experience to every classroom.
Address: River Tech School, 1687 E Horsehaven Ave, Post Falls.
Fall Start: August 28th, 2026.
Weekly Homeschool Schedule 2026-27

Participants are also regularly invited to optional field trips, including hikes, farms, Silverwood, and other local experiences.

Payment Plans
Tuition can be paid monthly, quarterly, or annually.
Quarterly is our standard plan and offers the best rate.
Monthly distributes tuition over twelve months (July–June).
Annual allows families to pay once at the start of the school year.
What Tuition Covers
Tuition includes all textbooks, classroom materials, and access to technology and performing arts equipment. Students bring their own laptop or tablet for schoolwork. (See Technology Requirements.)

Families may enroll in 1–4 days of enrichment. To make enrollment smooth and fair, River Tech uses a phased enrollment calendar. Students attending more days enroll first, followed by lighter schedules.
A 4-day schedule provides the full weekly sequence in arts, science, technology, and life skills.

Volunteering to Lead Teach a Class
If you have teaching experience and at least a bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent expertise, you can apply to volunteer to teach a subject. As a volunteer, you won’t be paid a salary—but in gratitude for your time, we do give priority to active volunteers during the scholarship review process. (Families who are unable to volunteer are still welcome to apply for tuition assistance—volunteering simply helps strengthen an application when funds are limited).
If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the Volunteer Form & Financial Aid Form below.
Field Trips
At River Tech we go on regular field-trips. Check it out here.
Field trips will primarily be scheduled on Wednesdays, outside of regular school hours.
Field trips will be optional, and you will sign up using a form. With limited seating, spots will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
We plan to offer field trips monthly. Each field trip will have a fee (starting at $20). Field trips are open for siblings (and parents) also. In other words, we’ll plan a trip, and then if you want to go, you sign up and come.
